GEBME POS helps you adjust inventory and recipe quantities, ensuring sufficient ingredients and reducing waste, so you can operate efficiently during the Winter Solstice or any other festive season. This article will guide you step by step on how to easily optimize your inventory settings in GEBME.
1. Enable Inventory Settings
After logging in to GEBME, go to Menu Setup, select the product you want to track, and check “Track Item as Inventory.”
Set the current inventory quantity and the Threshold for Warning, then update the product.
2. Set Current Inventory Status
Go to the Inventory page, where you can view:
i) Current inventory quantity
ii) Threshold for Warning
iii) Inventory records and out-of-stock records through reports
3. Adjust Ingredient Inventory Quantity
✔ Manually Update Inventory
After stock counting:
i) Enter the latest quantity
ii) Save to sync with the system
✔ Use the Restock Feature
i) When inventory is close to the warning threshold, the system will show a “Restock” prompt.
ii) You can directly create a restock order to save operation time.
✔ Deduct Goods
i) When ingredients spoil, expire, or go missing, you can deduct the corresponding quantity from the inventory.
ii) After entering the deduction quantity, the system will immediately update the current inventory.

Threshold for Warning
When the inventory quantity falls below a certain value, the system will alert you to restock.
Example:
If Product A has a warning threshold of 10 units,
when the inventory drops to 9 units, the system will issue a warning to prompt restocking.
